And how better to celebrate than with the most traditional of Irish dishes...lasagna!!
So, I realize that lasagna is not actually Irish. But since I am not a huge fan of corned beef, an Irish inspired lasagna seemed a bit more pleasing to my palate. So how do you make an Irish Lasagna? Start with regular homemade pasta dough, add some carrot puree for the orange stripe of the flag, some spinach puree for the green stripe of the flag, and there you have it: Irish Flag Lasagna. Throw it in the oven for 30 minutes or so and then prepare for a food coma to rival all others. Yummmm
